Warner's 4th Birthday: Peter Pan Hats

I decided it would be fun to have some Peter Pan Hats at Warner's birthday party.  These were super simple to make!  I just followed this tutorial from Sew in Harmony.

Don't look too close...I'm a novice on the sewing machine, remember...

I hope to see a lot of cute kids with these on in a few weeks!

Warner's 4th Birthday: Decor

One thing I knew I wanted for Warner's party, was a directional sign of all the different places you find in the story.

A friend's husband had a pallet in his garage that he took apart for me.

With a saw, we slanted some of the ends and left some as they were.  The cracks and imperfections of the wood make it that much better!

On the different pieces of wood, I simply painted some of the different places.

(yes, I googled the mileage from my house to London...)

I have a few more details I plan to add and then attach them all to a post.

I'm super excited about this project!

More to come...
 (including the finished product)!

Warner's 4th Birthday: The Theme

If you know Warner, then you know he has been Peter Pan crazy for awhile now.

For months now he has told me he wanted a "Peter Pan Birthday Party".

Well, that's just what he's going to get.

Stay tuned...

Friday Fête

When I saw this party, I was in love!

These awesome parents gave their little boy a "cardboard box birthday party"!  With a bunch of boxes, they made planes, trains, helicopters, and games for the kids to enjoy!

You've got to check it out!

Absolutely adorable!
