1 Week Old

It's hard to believe Warner is 1 week old already.

He's been very busy since leaving the hospital...

He has had lots of visitors!

Clay and Heather

Aunt Laura

His first celebrity friend, Cullie!

(Holly, Kim, and Ross were here too Dave just didn't get their picture!)

Auntie Erin

Cousins Sarah Beth

He's also spent this past week observing his surroundings,

watching a Carolina game with Daddy,

swinging in his swing,
and trying out his activity mat!

What a busy 1st week of life!

Warner is just the sweetest, most content baby. He loves to sleep and eat.
Our lives have completely changed. This first week has been filled with lots of change, smiles, tears, anxiety, laughter, and IMMENSE love.
We are so very blessed!

No Turning Back Now

This time tomorrow Warner will hopefully be here.

I am anxious, excited, scared, and everything else in between.

It's hard to believe how fast and how slow time has moved since we found out in January we were expecting.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow.

We can hardly wait!

39 Weeks

Today is quite a big day.

Today marks week 39 of my pregnancy.

Today we also scheduled an induction for next Tuesday! This just happens to be Warner's official due date and our doctor is on call. How perfect!

Of course he may decide to make his appearance before then.

Regardless, in 7 days (or less) our lives will change forever.

In 7 days (or less) we will be holding a precious baby boy.

In 7 days (or less) Warner will be here!

We can hardly wait! Pin It

38 Weeks

On this date 3 years ago Dave asked me to be his wife. I will never forget the proposal with Winston dressed in a "Mommy Will You Marry Daddy?" shirt. He was our child back then (still is) and we couldn't have imagined it any different. Fast forward 3 years to the date and I am exactly 38 weeks pregnant with our "real" first child. Funny how things happen.

I go to the doctor on Thursday and hope to have something to report. As of right now I'm still feeling pretty good minus the sleep. These past 2 days have been no good for me and sleep. I just can't get comfortable and when I finally do I have to pee. Also, Warner is constantly moving at night now. And we aren't talking the enduring, sweet movements of days past. We are talking the pushing and tugging and pulling movement. Not so cute anymore.

All I know is that is 2 weeks or less I will be holding my sweet baby boy. The lack of sleep, need to constantly pee, and not so cute movements will all be worth it!

Here's to the countdown! Pin It

37 weeks

I am now considered full term - hard to believe.

No news to report. I had my doctor's appointment today and I'm still only 1 cm. The doctor thinks that Warner may be "sunny side up." Basically his head is down but he is facing up when he should be facing down. Of course he can definitely turn and labor will allow this to happen. My doctor thinks that if we can get him to flip then my cervix will start dilating more. She told me some positions to get in while laying down watching TV. We shall see! All I know is that we are on Warner's time schedule, not mine!

And speaking of time schedules, does my ticker say 19 more days?! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!! :) Pin It
